Steam Oil Separator Kit

Steam oil separator; for the separation of the oil contained in the exhaust steam from the engine.  The separator allows the majority of the oil in exhaust steam to be contained within the oil separator and the relatively clean steam, exhausts out of the separator along pipe fitted to the chimney.  No external piping or parts are included in the price but can be purchased separately.

At each end of the separator there is a 3/16 x 32 blanking bolt.  These can be replaced for a 3/16” valve for (1) draining the waste oil from the lubricator and (2) the water gauge blowdown.  If you already have a John Hemmens plant both these valves are available from the plant.  Alternatively these can be purchased separately.

Available in two sizes to fit John Hemmens Steam Engineer steam plants and most other steam plants.
